Slobodan Blagojević

Slobodan Blagojević (Sarajevo, 1951) published a dozen books of poetry, a translation of the Collected Poems of Konstantin Cavafy (1988), Anthology of New Poetry of Bosnia and Herzegovina (1978), Anthology of Bosnian Poetry of the Twentieth Century (1980), American Poetics (with Hamdija Demirović and Dubravka Đurić , 1989), Greeks (translations and adaptations, 1990), and two books of essays – Poezija, mistika, povijest (1986) and Poezija, mistika, povijests (1996). He also published a philosophical prose book, Kratki uvod u vječnu polemiku (Retoričke priče) (2010). He also publishes under the heteronyms Anhel Antonić (four books of poems) and Aristid Teofanović (drama and three books of prose). He was the editor of the magazine Izraz, Sarajevo (1976–1979), the editor-in-chief of the magazine Delo, Belgrade (1987–1992) and Erewhon, in English, Amsterdam (1994–1997).
