Lana Bastašić (1986, Zagreb) published two story collections, a book of stories for children, and a collection of poetry. She is the winner of several awards for a short story, two awards for poetry, and the Kamerni teatar 55 award for an unpublished drama. With her first novel Catch the Rabbit, translated into thirteen languages, she was shortlisted for the NIN Award, and won the European Prize for Literature in 2020. Her stories were published in Polja, Sarajevske sveske, Povelja, Fantom slobode and other regional magazines. She is one of the founders of the "Bloom" school of literature in Barcelona and a member of the PEN Center in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
