Almir Imširević

Almir Imširević, born on March 10, 1971 in Bihać. Graduated from the Dramaturgy Department of the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. He is the author of the plays: "„Kad bi ovo bila predstava...“, „Balkanski đavo Sram“, „Circus Inferno“, „Po istinitoj priči“, „Mousefuckers“, „Kad bi ovo bio film“, „Jedan je Muhammed Ali“... His plays were awarded at festivals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, performed in many European countries, and included in the French and Bosnian anthologies of contemporary drama. So far, he has published two books of plays, books of short stories Strana 212 and Najljepši od svih svjetova, and the novel Zlatni geler. For a number of years, he was the head of the Dramaturgy Department, and today he is a full-time professor at the course Theater Writing.
