Adisa Bašić

Adisa Bašić (1979) has published five poetry collections (Havine rečenice, Trauma market, Promotivni spot za moju domovinu, Motel neznanih junaka, Košćela) and one book of stories (A ti zaključaj). Her poetry is included in numerous anthologies and panoramas of recent Bosnian and European poetry. At the University of Graz she obtained her doctorate with the topic "Comic approach to erotic love in selected South Slavic poetry". The work was awarded the "Ingeborg Ohnheiser" award for the best Slavic dissertation in Austria and was published at the end of 2021 under the title Erosova manufaktura. She teaches comparative literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. She lives in Sarajevo and in the Herzegovinian village of Aladinići.
