Velibor Čolić (1964, Odžak) is a journalist and writer who has been living and working in France since 1992. So far, he has published several novels, the most famous of which are Sarajevo Omnibus, Kod AlbertaMother funker and Egzil za početnike. He introduced himself to the French public in 1993 with the book of stories Bosanci, and the first book he wrote in French Arkanđeli was published in 2008. His works have been translated into eleven languages, and some have even been adapted for theaters in France, Belgium and Switzerland. In 2014, the French Academy awarded him the Prize for promoting French language and culture.
