Marija Bajo

Marija Bajo (Travnik, 1989) has been playing the piano since she was eight years old. She enrolled in piano studies at the Academy of Music in Sarajevo with Professor Olana Sijarić. In Sarajevo, she participated in the production of festivals and projects in the field of culture. In 2017, she completed her studies at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, graduating with Professor Ante Milić. She is employed at the Ana Maletić School of Contemporary Dance in Zagreb as an accompanist and piano teacher. She is a part-time employee at the Zagreb Youth Theatre. She worked as a musical collaborator on Eni Vesović's plays "Varijacije" (2022) and "Isto je isto što i drugo" (2023). Since 2022, she has been working on her own project Spite the Shadows, which deals with the culture of memory through a multimedia performance - a monodrama, which premiered in September 2024.
