Selvedin Avdić (Zenica, BiH, 1969) is the editor of the online magazine Žurnal. He is the author of the collection of stories Podstanari i drugi fantomi, the novels Seven Terrors and Kap veselja, the intimate monographs Moja fabrika, Autobusne biljepke, and diary entries Mali smakovi. The novel Seven Terrors has been translated into several foreign languages, and the British Guardian included it among the best "paperback" editions published in 2014. In 2018, it received the English PEN Award for translated literature. Theatrical plays were made based on the motifs of the books Moja fabrika and Seven Terrors.
