Maruška Aras (Zadar, 1996) is completing a five-year acting course at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. She currently lives and works in Zagreb as an assistant in the acting course at ADU in the class of Borna Baletić and as a freelance artist on the theater and film stage. She also occasionally leads drama workshops in Benkovac and collaborates with Shadow Casters on film workshops for children and young people Frooom!. So far, she has performed in Croatian National Theater Varaždin, Croatian National Theater Split, Teatro &td, Teatro Verrdi, Eurokaz, Žar ptica, etc. and in the films of Ivana Kragić Marinić, Tomislav Šoban, Nikica Zdunić, Vanja Juranić, Mladen Stanić and others. In addition to the productions in which she is engaged as an actress, she collaborates with Teatro Verrdi and works on her own projects and develops her expression. In 2020, at the Be:femon monodrama festival in Bečej, she was awarded a special award for exceptional and forgotten stage freedoms for her roles in the play "Školjka šumi" directed by Hrvoj Korbar. In addition to her education at the Academy, she continues to improve at various theater workshops, mainly focused on physical theater and clowning.
