Goran Samardžić

After completing his literature studies, Goran Samardžić (Sarajevo, 1961) worked as a journalist, editor, editor, promoter. So far, he has published books of poems Lutke and Zubi u drvetu, books of poetry and prose Otkazano zbog kiše and Između dva pisma, and a book of stories Sikamora. He also published a book of his old and new stories Ljudi koje su na krilima donijele guske, books of selected and new stories Leteći Beograđanin and Zimski zagrljaj, and the novels Šumski duh  and Grobar pasa (V.B.Z.'s literary award for the best unpublished novel in 2024). He is the winner of local and regional literary awards, and his prose was included in the anthology Best European Fiction 2011. He is the co-owner of the publishing house Buybook.
