Senka Marić

Senka Marić (Mostar, 1972) writes poetry, prose, and essays. She has published three collections of poetry and two novels, Body Kintsugi and Gravitacije. She won several awards, including the European award Vitez/škinja poezije, Zija Dizdarević, and for the afore-mentioned novel, Body Kintsugi, Meša Selimović award for the best novel published in 2018 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, and Montenegro. The English translation of the novel was awarded with the English PEN Translates Award and was shortlisted for the EBRD Award. The novel Gravitacije was awarded with the Štefica Cvek prize. Her works have been translated into English, Spanish, German, Russian, Hungarian, and Slovenian. She is the editor of the web portal for literature, culture, and art, strane.ba.
