Darko Cvijetić (born 1968 in Ljubija, Rudnik – now Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a dramaturge and director at the Prijedor Theatre, and a columnist for the Sarajevo portal Žurnal. He has received numerous awards, including the Fric Prize for the novel Schindlerov lift, the Sterija Award for the dramatization of the novel Što na podu spavaš, and the Zoranov Brk Award for his role in the eponymous play. The novels Schindlerov lift and Što na podu spavaš have been adapted into plays by the Kamerni teatar 55 Sarajevo, GDK Gavella Zagreb, Srpsko narodno pozorište Novi Sad, and Narodno pozorište Sarajevo. He studied Philosophy of Gardening – Ethics and Theatre Studies at the Private Study of Cultural Studies under Master Leon Weiss in Novi Sad. Cvijetić lives in Prijedor. In the Red Solitaire.
