Zdravka Evtimova

Zdravka Evtimova (Pernik, 1959) is a Bulgarian writer and translator. She wrote 7 novels and 8 collections of short stories. In addition, she translated more than 25 novels by English, American and Canadian authors into Bulgarian, and works by Bulgarian writers into English. Her literary works, including short stories and novels, have been published in more than 30 countries and included in school curricula throughout Europe and North America. She has won numerous national and international awards for her writing. She is a member of the Bulgarian Union of Writers and the League of Writers in the United Kingdom - Yorkshire-Humberside region, as well as the Bulgarian PEN Club.
