Saida Mustajbegović is a writer, poet, and sociologist from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She lives and works in Sarajevo, where she received her education in sociology (Faculty of Political Sciences), comparative literature (Faculty of Philosophy) and journalism (French-Bosnian school of journalism Media Plan/Ecole supérieure de journalisme de Lille). Her interdisciplinary education is reflected in a variety of creativity that includes literary and scientific texts, screenplays and documentaries. She is the author of the collection of stories Kuća bez krova, the collection of poetry Nenošeni snovi and the biography Ani Radošević: Poetesa pokreta. Her documentaries deal with the themes of transgenerational trauma and cultural narratives of the Balkans, and her first film, Boje i ritmovi nemira, explores activist art between the two world wars and its relevance today. She has won several awards for her contribution to literature and film, and her work is strongly rooted in the research of the identity and history of the region.
