Dinko Gruhonjić (Banja Luka, 1970) is an associate professor at the Department of Media Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, program director of the Independent Journalists' Association of Vojvodina, the oldest independent association of journalists in the former Yugoslavia, and head of the Beta News Agency's Vojvodina correspondent. He has been a professional journalist since 1996, and during his career he has worked for numerous media outlets, including Reuters, AFP, DW, RFE... He has received several awards for his journalistic work and for his work in the defense of human rights. He is the author of two monographs and a collection of newspaper columns. He lives and works in Novi Sad. Yugoslav and Bosnian.
